Legal/Terms

Terms

The terms for buying and using Accordee from accordee.app. By buying or downloading, you agree to these terms and to the License.

Who we are

accordee.app is run by Dai Trong Nguyen, an individual based in Hanoi, Vietnam (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@louisnguyen.co.

Our identity as the seller is verified by Stripe through Polar, the merchant of record for every order.

Buying

Orders are processed by Polar, which acts as the merchant of record. Polar handles payment, invoices and sales tax or VAT, and Polar's own terms apply to the payment itself. What you buy is a license to use Accordee, described on the License page.

Prices and taxes

Prices are one-time payments in US dollars, shown on the pricing page. Any tax that applies is shown at checkout. We may change prices at any time; a change never affects an order you've already paid for.

Delivery

You get access the moment your payment goes through: a ZIP download and access to the private GitHub repository, sent to the email you used at checkout.

Updates

Updates are included for life, meaning for as long as we sell the product. We decide what updates contain and when they ship.

Support

We help with critical technical issues for 14 days after your purchase, by email at support@louisnguyen.co. A critical issue is one where the code we shipped doesn't install, build or run as documented. Everything else, including setup, customisation and connecting your own backend, is covered in the Docs.

Your access

Your access is for the seats in your plan. Keep your access key, download links and repository access to yourself, and don't share them with anyone outside your seats.

Refunds

Purchases are final once the code is delivered, with the exceptions on the Refund page.

No warranty

Accordee is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. You're responsible for how you use it, for testing it in your product, and for meeting the laws that apply to your product. This doesn't limit rights that the law of your country gives you and that can't be waived.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, our total liability for anything related to Accordee is limited to the amount you paid for your license. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption.

Ending

If you break these terms or the License, your license ends and we may remove your access. The sections on warranty and liability still apply after that.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes don't take away rights you already have under an order you've paid for.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protections that the law where you live gives you.
