Legal/License

License

What you can build with Accordee, what you can't, and how seats work. Every license is a one-time purchase that covers unlimited projects.

Who this license is between

Accordee is made and sold by Dai Trong Nguyen, an individual based in Hanoi, Vietnam (“we”). When you buy a license, you (“you”) get the right to use the Accordee source code and design files (the “items”) as described on this page. You get a license to use the items; ownership of the items stays with us.

Seats

A seat is one designer or developer who works with the source. Your license covers the number of seats in your plan, across unlimited projects.

PlanSeatsProjects
Personal1 personUnlimited
Team5 seatsUnlimited
AgencyUp to 15 seatsUnlimited

People who only use the finished product, such as your customers, clients or teammates who never open the code, don't need a seat.

You can

  • Change, extend and restyle the code however you like.
  • Ship it inside finished products: websites, apps, SaaS and client work.
  • Build SaaS products that your end users pay for.
  • Keep the code in private repositories, including one per client.
  • Get every new item we add later at no extra cost.

You can't

  • Publish the source on its own, as files, a package, a registry or a download.
  • Sell or give away the items as a UI kit, template or component library, open source or not.
  • Build a page builder, design tool or similar product for others with the items.
  • Share your license, seat or access key, or use one seat for several people.
  • Open-source a product built with Accordee if the template code is visible in it.

Not covered

The license covers finished products. It does not cover a template, UI kit or component library, or a tool whose main purpose is letting others create interfaces with the items.

Updates

Your license includes lifetime updates. “Lifetime” means for as long as we sell the product. New items we add later are included at no extra cost.

Transfers and upgrades

You can transfer a license, for example when your company is sold, as long as the access email stays the same. Upgrades between plans aren't available by paying the difference; to move to a bigger plan, buy that plan.

If the license is broken

If you break these terms, your license ends. You must then stop using the items in new work and remove them from anything you distribute. We may also remove your access to downloads and the repository.

Logos and third-party content

Some previews show logos of other companies, such as Figma, Slack or Stripe, as sample content. Those marks belong to their owners and are not part of any license we give. Replace them before you ship, or make sure you may use them.
